Sharon came from a corporate background to start the Off Beat Coffee Bar in Sydney Street 5 years ago and is now firmly established within the local business community. An NLTA member since opening she was elected as Chair of the association at the AGM in 2006.

Peter opened the Workshop Pottery with his wife over 29 years ago and was a founder member of the NLTA in 1989. He is a past Chair of the North Laine Community association and a governor of City College Brighton and Hove. In 2008 Peter moved his workshop to a new studio at his home but has an office/studio at Off Beat Coffee to enable him to continue both his business in North Laine and his work for the association. |
