The North Laine Traders Association have launched a "youtube style" video competition. The aim of the competition is to capture the vibrancy of the North Laine shopping area, also known as the 'Soul of the City', in a two-minute video to be used on the homepage of our very own www.northlaine.co.uk website. The video clip will give potential new visitors to the area a taster of the unique atmosphere they can enjoy whilst shopping in the North Laine.

The first prize will be £250 with runner-up prizes of gift vouchers from North Laine stores.

Entry is free and the closing date is Sunday 1st November. Entries will be posted up on the website as they come in and the ones which receive the most positive feedback from visitors to the site will be put forward for judging by NLTA members.

To submit entries for the competition please email your videos to thenorthlaine@yahoo.co.uk - max size 10 meg please! - if they're too big to email you can hand them in on disk at the Off Beat Coffee Bar on Sydney Street. Please do not hand us the only copy you have of your film!
